We use trusted third-party services including Supabase for database storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Google for authentication. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate our Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing)
• AI Providers: Your prompts are sent to AI services (like Anthropic Claude) for optimization

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics tools (PostHog) to understand how users interact with our Service. We don't send the text of your prompts or optimized results to PostHog, and we hide them from session recordings. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and optimization history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

10. PromptWizz Chrome Extension

The extension reads only text you explicitly select with the right-click action or the optional Grab button, or text you type or paste into its popup. Grab puts selected text into a draft for your review; it does not submit it. When you choose Optimize, your submitted text goes to PromptWizz and to Anthropic to generate an optimized prompt. Submitted text may contain information you choose to include.

The popup checks your PromptWizz sign-in status and uses your existing site session cookies when Chrome permits. It reads only the account ID and plan tier needed for controls; it discards returned name, email, and image fields. If no account is confirmed, you must explicitly choose anonymous use. Anonymous and account usage limits are shared with the website. PromptWizz records usage metadata for extension optimizations, including tier, settings, timing, scores, and error category. The extension also sends no prompt or result text to analytics.

Drafts and results stay in the open popup memory and are not automatically saved to your PromptWizz history. Closing the popup cancels the request when possible, but work already accepted may still use your allowance or incur processing before cancellation reaches the provider. A context-menu or explicit site/refinement handoff briefly stores the text, and for refinement the result, in browser session memory. The one-time record is deleted when claimed; unclaimed records expire after five minutes and are removed on a later handoff or claim, or when the browser session ends. If you choose to sign in to refine a transferred result, the site tab temporarily holds that result in sessionStorage for up to five minutes and removes it on restoration or expiry.

The extension does not monitor pages continuously or collect browsing history, page URLs, or page contents beyond text you select. We do not sell this data or use it for unrelated advertising or creditworthiness.
